Cheryl Witham is an experienced full life-cycle recruiting professional with exceptional skills in sourcing, client relations, candidate management, vendor relations, process management and communication.  Her primary contribution to an organization is driven by a passion for the recruiting function with unwavering personal and professional ethics.  During her 20+ year career Cheryl has focused on the professional services arena in both the public and private sectors.  She has earned both the PHR and SPHR certifications from the Human Resources Certification Institute.

 

Cheryl has held positions ranging from Senior Recruiter to Regional Director for Big 4 firms working in both the audit and tax areas as well as business/management consulting.  She has performed in the roles of Recruiting Manager and National Director with smaller organizations and her industry experience includes accounting and finance, management consulting, IT, manufacturing, healthcare and telecommunications.  Cheryl has recruited candidates at all levels of an organization from entry-level to Vice President including the Partner level in Big 4 organizations. 

 

In 1998 Cheryl was a speaker at a global recruiting conference in Chicago on the topic of the research model as used in recruiting.  She has more than 15 years of experience with behavioral interviewing and has served as a trainer and consultant in this area.   Cheryl has also written and delivered recruiter training courses for recruiters at all levels. 

 

As an Independent Recruiter Contractor, Cheryl has worked as an individual contributor in full cycle recruiting environments as well as in specialty areas such as sourcing and candidate development. 

 

Believing strongly in community activity, Cheryl has volunteered for organizations to assist individuals with job search related skills and activities, primarily working with those coming out of domestic violence situations.  In her spare time she is an avid reader, dog lover and gardener tending vegetables, roses and many varieties of lilies.

 

Cheryl received her BA in Social Science (Sociology and Psychology) from Chapman University with a GPA of 3.9 in 1983.
